George O. (Pete) Love is an EMT-Paramedic from Middle Tennessee.  He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School where he was active in band and football.  He attended Middle Tennessee State University majoring in Music and English.  He also attended Volunteer State Community College and majored in Paramedic Technology.  His published articles have appeared in Emergency Magazine, Highlights for Children and Collage Magazine.  He is married and has six children.

He appeared on the TV show "Rescue 911" on CBS and on "Angels Among Us" on PBS. One accident he worked was featured in the ASSET Driving Safety video and he provided commentary on the rescue itself as well as general safe driving habits, specifically the use of child seats and shoulder harnesses.  He was also a regular on the TV Show Club Dance which highlighted his enthusiasm for Country music and Country Western Dance.  He was a dancer in the instructional video "Hot Country Dancin' 2" and appeared in the music video "Jealous Bone" by Patty Loveless. 

As a Paramedic, he worked for Galveston County EMS in Texas City, TX, LifeLine EMS in Clute, TX, Rutherford County EMS in Murfreesboro, TN and MediCall Ambulance in Nashville, TN.  He began service with Rutherford County Rescue Squad in Murfreesboro, TN and one of his adult children now serves with that same rescue squad.  Experiences with these organizations serve as inspiration for the first three books in the "On The Scene" trilogy. 

Mr. Love is associated with the American Heart Association and has been an instructor, instructor trainer and now Regional Faculty in the Middle Tennessee area. 

Mr. Love is a USSF D licensed soccer coach, a level 8 soccer referee and has taken two soccer teams to the Tennessee State Soccer Association State Cup at Division III and saw both teams place fifth overall.
