In this futuristic science-fiction
tale, an incredibly intelligent and amazingly strong mutated child only wants
freedom—but somebody wants her dead.
2032—LeAnn Bethany “Beth” Connors, appears to be a normal, twelve-year-old girl. But on the inside, Beth is a special child, an accidental mutant with incredible intelligence, amazing strength, and a gift that allows her to communicate with machines. She loves karate, soccer, music, and hanging out with her friends. But more than anything, Beth wants to be free after years of isolation and captivity in Arizona.
After other mutated children suffer heart conditions from a defective gene, Beth’s superior knowledge is called upon to help save their lives. Years of testing and training have gone into developing these children into the next generation of humans, but an errant pilot stumbles upon the testing area and is killed by one of the more aggressive mutants. Her captors—the same scientists who trained her to kill, heal, and operate almost every piece of military hardware our country has to offer—have been ordered to terminate Beth and all others like her. But Beth’s amazing abilities allow her to escape in a specially designed Hummer outfitted with the latest in technology.
Beth searches for others like her in order to save lives and eventually finds a community of people who understand her—through them she finds friendship and acceptance. But when Beth learns her former captors want to destroy this species of humans, she must use everything she has learned to survive.

On the Scene is my first book to be published. The On the Scene series
will feature six novels and will follow a cast of characters through the day to day life in
Emergency Medical Service, Gymnastics competitions, school, relationships,
coming of age, busy family life, broadcast journalism and take a look at how the
lead character's chosen profession affects all those around him.
On the Scene provides a look inside the world of EMS and although a work of fiction, the calls experienced by the reader in On the Scene with include life like dramatizations of real calls taken from news stories and my own life experiences.
I'm glad you found my site I hope you will support the books and stories I am trying to bring to the public. I hope they will entertain and enlighten you. Most of all, I hope you will have fun reading my works.
The second book, On the Scene II: Status Check is in the final phases of production and the third book in this series, On the Scene III: Busy on Call is also in production.

The Wright family continues with their lives in On The Scene II: Status Check. After the tragic shooting on the Texas Tower, Stacy finds herself in a struggle to help her father save the life of her mother, taken down by a would be suitor. Stacy and Kimberly continue their quest for gymnastic titles while tragedies they deal with their chaotic and exciting home life.
Kevin’s work remains a constant source of controversy between him and Helen, but Helen’s brush with death opens her eyes her past actions and the family she has betrayed. New experiences open to all our characters as they deal with day to day life, life and death situations and more complicated societal issues.
Kevin rescues a child for the second time during On The Scene II. A tragedy brings the Wright family together, yet ambitions threaten to tear them apart.
Sit back and ride along. More emergency calls place stress on Kevin, his staff and his family!
On the Scene III: Busy on Call - Available Now!!
In On the Scene III, we find more action as Kevin’s crews face natural disasters, mass casualty situations and personal losses. New challenges face Kevin and his family as they adjust to their ever changing lives.
We find a couple of bad seeds at Life Star and the conviction in one brave medic to help local police rid the community of medics who place money above caring for their patients.
Stacy and Kimberly get to represent their gym in Oklahoma City in their biggest competition to date, while Crystal learns to excel in soccer.
Buckle up! On the Scene III promises to be a wild ride!
